Title? What?
The Yuba Post regrets the lack of a coherent news item today but it seems the editors of the Post have lost their little black notebook where they keep their ideas for future posts and they really need that notebook because it takes time to formulate ideas for posts and that notebook was where they formulated and with no notebook there are no formulating ideas and the editors become lost and confused and they can't remember what was worth reporting and they remember something about a new cat columnist and maybe guest LimerickPics but mostly they just think about their beautiful little black notebook and how it always used to tell them what to write and how lonely it must be now and how lonely the editors are without it and it was a Moleskine notebook which is the best kind and the same kind used by greats like Van Gogh and Hemingway who incidentally visited Yuba once during one of his boyhood trips to Michigan which would make a great story for the Yuba Post except that we have nowhere to write down the idea like on a Moleskine notebook which was used by greats like Picasso and Brandon Hall and now the Yuba Post except that the Yuba Post has lost theirs and they're having trouble writing without it because it had all their ideas and writing without ideas and writing without a little black notebook is nearly impossible though you'd never know it by reading the Yuba Post because they are so excellent at managing crises and still putting out a great column every day of the year.

oh -- you NEEDED that notebook?
At some point, you're going to HAVE to make a deadline. You can't keep going like this - writing something on Tuesday and claiming it was in at 11:59 pm on Monday. It's becoming a habit. A bad habit. And the Yuba community will not stand for it.
I will also have you all know that I submitted my Guest LimerickPic ALREADY, and this hogswallow was published at 11:59 INSTEAD of it. I think we, the Yubagoing masses, need to demand some accountability! REVOLT!
Poor PopDoyle.
PopDoyle is becoming a hack. Such a shame. Kid coulda been a contender.
False deadlines?
Hogswallow?
Hack?
Revolt?
...now let's slow down here a minute, people. I think we're all getting a little bit carried away and maybe we're saying a few things we might come to regret. I suggest we all just take a deep breath and relax for a second.
Better.
Now, Senator Murphy, it sounds to me like you're accusing the editors of the Yuba Post of fudging post times in order to make our daily deadline. This is a very serious claim, Senator, and it is one the Yuba Post has heard before. But let the record show that the Yuba Post has always denied these accusations. Furthermore, no hard evidence has ever been produced to support such claims. Much like Barry Bonds, the Post is an innocent victim of circumstantial evidence. Did it ever occur to you, Senator, that maybe the Yuba Post simply enjoys posting at 11:59 PM? and that maybe, on certain evenings, the Internet is running a little slower than normal and post updates don't reach the West Coast until hours after their publication? Did that EVER occur to you Senator? Hmmm? Have you no decency, sir?
And Mr. Frank-Lehrer, Guest LimerickPic week begins on Monday the 24TH, not Monday the 17th! Publishing your LimerickPic yesterday would have been entirely inappropriate and would have only brought about claims of favoritism.
And Kelly, I may not be a rich man, but I am by no means "poor," as I manage a decent living through my job at the Post and my prize money from the Rock Paper Scissors circuit.
Finally, Stanley K, it takes one to know one, buddy.
...hmmmmm. What if my LimerickPic is time-sensitive?
